Where's Mama This Morning

Too much on my mind to sleep this morning — so here I am, wide awake and writing instead. 

I’ve decided to step into something new: starting a business. Maybe I’ve gone a little crazy, or maybe I’m just ready for a new challenge. Either way, the adventure has begun. 

Now, I don’t mind a few hurdles, but navigating all the paperwork, rules, and red tape can make you wonder if it’s worth the effort. I usually enjoy figuring things out, but even this mama is starting to feel the strain of a system that doesn’t make it easy for small dreamers with big ideas. 

There’s a saying: “If you don’t want to play the game, sit on the sidelines and complain.” Well, that’s not me. Times are changing fast, and if you don’t adapt, you’ll get left behind. So, I’m jumping in with both feet — determined to learn, grow, and build something meaningful. 

Of course, I’ll probably do a little complaining along the way (old habits die hard), but if you stick around, you might pick up a few lessons, laughs, and bits of hard-earned wisdom, too.
